Welcome! Crazy Comic Club illustration workshops are run in schools, libraries, and at events across the UK by bestselling cartoonist James Parsons. The focus is on developing drawing and literacy skills, while creating new characters and sending them off on imagination-stretching adventures!
Sessions can be about almost anything, and I have developed hundreds of different workshops. We explore drawing and storytelling techniques, expressive anatomy, design, dynamism, speech, character development, costume, mood, setting, clarity of communication, the history of comics, and more – all the ingredients required to build an effective graphic story. The infinite wonders of our imaginations are explored through stories and strips that stretch from the real world to the strangest realms of fantasy!
